Dolphinaris Cozumel guests will be able to choose from a variety of programs like swim with dolphins, learn how to train a dolphin, participate on the kids program, enjoy a private session with family or friends or have the opportunity to celebrate and anniversary, birthday, engagement with a custom-arrange dolphin session to relay a special message. Each of our programs includes live demonstrations on dolphin acrobatics and behavior, plus information on dolphin physiology, training and habitat.
DOLPHINARIS SWIM & RIDE (DSR)
The first part of program is conducted on a waist deep submerged platform. This is a very hand on program, allowing guest, in a controlled setting, to get an up close and personal anatomy lesson on dolphins as well as learning about dolphins’ behavior and adaptations they have made to the environment. All participants receive a kiss and pectoral fins shake. Guests will then proceed into the deeper water of our natural ocean coves to swim and touch the dolphins in their own environment where they will enjoy a dolphin ride. The dolphin is directed by the trainer to swim by each participant allowing a freely interaction. Following this we will provide the guests with a mask to see how these beautiful animals swim and glide through the crystal waters of Dolphinaris. Our facility is also home to many other forms of marine and fish life, which can be viewed with safety and ease.
DOLPHINARIS KIDS ADVENTURE (DKA)
This dream-fulfilling experience provides kids the opportunity to interact with bottlenose dolphins, in the safety of shallow waters on a private inlet and come into contact with these amazing mammals while gently touching their velvet skin. Here, kids will learn about dolphin physiology and behavior. The kids will view a brief dolphin presentation where they will be introduced to some of the extraordinary dolphins’ behavior. The program is conducted on a 1.5 feet deep submerged platform. This is a very hand on program, allowing kids, in a controlled and safe setting, to get an up close and personal anatomy lesson on dolphins as well as learning about dolphin behavior and adaptations they have made to the environment. All kids receive a kiss and pectoral fins shake.
DOLPHIN TRAINER (DT)
You will be welcomed by one of our knowledgeable trainers to start your dolphin trainer program where you will be in close contact with the dolphins while assisting our trainers in every aspect of their work including feeding and behavioral training techniques like hand signals and the use of positive reinforcement. Participants will be taken to a “behind the scenes” tour, they will visit the “fish house” and laboratory where they will learn to prepare the dolphins’ diets and learn about basic husbandry, training techniques, daily reports and medication. Participants will be taught of anatomy lesson on dolphins as well as participate in an interactive training lecture. Participants will be provided with face mask and snorkel and guided to the snorkeling cove, where they will receive information on the forms of marine and fish life, which they will view with safety and ease. Guests will then proceed into the deeper water of our natural ocean coves to swim and touch the dolphins in their own environment where they will enjoy a dolphin ride.

*RECOMMENDATIONS
-All participants have to know how to swim.
-Be at least 30 minutes in advance in the location for the check in.
-Wear comfortable clothes and footwear, swimwear, towel, extra change of clothes and sunglasses or a cap.
-Please, do not wear any type of jewelry or watch during the activity.
-It is not allowed to use your personal camera, nor your companions, during the swim activity. Dolphin Discovery staff provides the photo and video service.
-Remember to use biodegradable tanning or sun-block lotion.
-Keep with you cash and/or credit cards to pay the additional fees or if you want to purchase some souvenirs in Dolphinaris.
