This exciting adventure tour starts with a Jungle Crossing 4x4 all-terrain vehicle (Mercedes Benz Unimog) to get to a small Maya community where the “Nohoch Nah Chich” cenote (underground river) system is located, the second longest underground river system in the world. Here you will enjoy an unforgettable snorkeling adventure into the fresh water of the underground rivers, swimming deep inside the caverns where you can observe stunning stalactite and stalagmite formations above and below this crystal-clear water.
Walk through the jungle (trekking) and witness the animal prints from the species that live there, the cenotes, and the variety of flora and fauna. We will arrive to "Yaax-mul" cenote, another entrance to this beautiful underground river system, for a relaxing swim in its refreshingly cool waters.
A traditional Maya lunch prepared by the women of this community then awaits you at the ranch. After lunch you will have the opportunity to visit the ranch and its inhabitants, a small Maya family that have lived in this remote jungle location for the last 30 years.

*CAUTION
-This expedition is not suitable for people with severe physical or motor handicap, serious heart problems, for overweight people and people who are not able to handle physical activity. Neither for those who suffer claustrophobia or do not know how to swim. It is definitely not allowed for pregnant women, nor children under 6 years old. People under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate in this expedition. Maximum weight allowed 264lb.
